Jamie Bosio has joined his boyhood club after an eight-year absence as Glacis United makes eight signings.
After suffering an ACL injury back in October 2018 with Gibraltar United, Jamie made his comeback after two-years while playing with the Lincoln reserves.
Due to Covid regulations, the future of the U23 league seems in doubt with many young players joining teams in the Gibraltar National League and try to get a taste of senior football.
Sources close to Glacis confirmed the signing of 29-year old Jamie Bosio with the Gibraltar International linking up with former Gibraltar United coach Javi Sanchez.
Jamie played for Glacis when he arrived in Gibraltar at the age of 10 and would play with the “golden generation” of Glacis players like Al Greene, Kevin De Los Santos, Keith Laguea, Michael Felice and Joe Chipol. Bosio would leave the club in 2013 to join College Europa (now Europa FC).
Joining Jamie is Lython Marquez and Sean Gilbert of Boca, Ethan Llambias joins on loan from Lincoln, Jayan Brennan from Europa Point, Kivan Ramos from the U23’s of Lincoln and Alessandro Borghi, brother of Stefano Borghi who joined St Joseph’s from Glacis last week.
