Angel Guirado nets four goals as Saints romp to victory

Angel Guirado netted four goals in St Joseph’s 13-1 win over College 1975.

St Joseph’s saw Jamie Robba return in goal for them, while Jonathan Gingell was a starter for College 1975 this afternoon.

The game was a no-contest on paper, and proved to be so on the pitch. Angel Guirado notched his first after four minutes, followed by second on the 19th minute. Carlos Carrasco and a Juanfri penalty made it 4-0 on 26 minutes, then moments later Sykes Garro got Saints fifth.

After Juanfri got his second, College did get one back through Cristian Pacheco after 38 minutes, but it proved to be in vain. 6-1 up at the break, Saints would not relent, and two further goals from Guirado, a hat-trick from second half sub Boro, and further strikes from Garro and Kenneth Chipolina meant Saints racked up a 13-1 victory in a very one-sided contest.
