Caravaca hat-trick inspires Lions

Alberto Caravaca struck a hat-trick as Lions eased past Glacis United 3-0.

17-year old Kadrian Verjaque made his full senior debut for Lions after an impressive display in their win over Manchester 62 – he was Albert Ferri’s only change from last week.

Caravaca missed an early chance in the 4th minute to give his side the lead but the Lions captain made no mistake after scoring a penalty which youngster Verjaque won.

Lions doubled their lead with five minutes of the first half remaining through Caravaca and the Spaniard got his hat-trick on the hour mark to give his side a 3-0 lead.

This win sees Lions move top of the table; with two wins, seven goals scored and none conceded from their opening two games.
