Manchester 62 v Brunos Magpies preview

The biggest game in Brunos Magpies history as they have a glorious chance of being promoted to the Premier Division and relegating Manchester 62.

It has been a tough campaign for Manchester 62, losing arguably their two best players in Fran Mejias & Cristian Toncheff and currently having their fourth manager in charge since the summer is not the way the Red Devils had planned things out. From a team which finished second in 2013-14, the financial restraints have meant they haven’t been able to spend the kind of money like the teams around them which has led them to be in this problem.

Magpies can go out today knowing the pressure is on their opponents, relegation for Manchester 62 will be a disaster for the club with many believing they will have problems coming back up. Magpies will be hoping striker Luke Busumbru is firing on all cyclinders as the Englishman as shown this season that he is the real deal.

Regan Mendes, nicknamed “Beast”, by his team-mates and fans has been another player who has shone this season. The defender has been solid in defence and has an eye for goal but will be hoping that the game doesn’t go to penalties as he missed the vital one which saw his side lost to Cannons in the Gibtelecom Rock Cup.
