Glacis United cruised to a 3-1 win over Mons Calpe with Salvador Carrasco, Juan Manuel Llaves and Juan Jose Perez Jimenez on target.
Mons started the stronger, Alan Parker dispossessed Julio Bado and curled a shot towards goal which went wide. Glacis came battling back, Juan Manuel Llaves fired a long range shot which went just wide. Less than a minute til half-time and Glacis took the lead, Mons Calpe failed to clear the lines and the ball found its way to Salvador Carrasco who fired past Fraiz.
A minute later referee Glen Gilbert blew for half-time with Glacis leading 1-0. Just after the hour mark Glacis doubled their lead as Juan Manuel Llaves latched onto a through ball from Ander Sanchez and lobbed the on-rushing Christian Fraiz. Three minutes later Glacis made it 3-0, Juan Jose Perez Jimenez got on the end of a corner and powered the ball past Fraiz.
Mons got themselves a consolation goal in the 85th minute, Facundo Cascio delivered a free-kick which found Jose Luis Otero who nodded the ball past Borja Gonzalez. In added time Glacis went down to 10 men as captain Leo Pereyra picked up his second booking and was sent off.
Minutes later the final whistle went and Glacis secured an important win in their chase for European football.
