Lions & Europa Point have bolstered their squads as both clubs try to avoid relegation this season.
Lions currently sit ninth and are the only team in the Premier Division who are yet to win a game this season. Former St Joseph’s midfielders Ignacio David Barea & Juan Pedro ‘Juampe’ Carretero will bring a wealth of experience to a very young midfield, former Lynx attacker Alberto Caravaca Castro & mdifielder Francisco Javier Santos González have also joined the club.
Results may have not gone their way but Europa Point have put in some great performances this season and in certain games have been unlucky to not walk away with all three points. After the departure of player/coach George Jermy and appointment of former Glacis manager Daniel Amaya, the rebuilding process at the club has begun.
Pedro Ardanaz, who was with Amaya at Glacis last season, has joined the club alongside Cristian Marquez Escavia who had stints at Mons Calpe & St Joseph’s, Jose Alberto Duran Aparicio from Manchester 62 & Kevin Ruiz Moreno who used to play for Gib Scorpions Futsal.
We expect both teams to continue to build as the January transfer window is open.
