Manchester 62 were held to a thrilling 2-2 draw against Lynx this afternoon.
Six minutes in and Manchester 62 broke the deadlock. Robert Rae failed to deal with a corner and the ball fell to Jose Antonio Dominguez who volleyed his effort into the back of the net. Three minutes later Lynx were awarded a penalty, Yacine Abed Serandi produced a wonderful piece of skill to get past Diego Pacheco who brought the attacker down. Raul Segura stepped up and coolly slotted his effort into the bottom corner.
Twelve minutes later Lynx doubled their lead, a corner was played out to Raul Segura who fired a long range shot which took a big deflected off Diego Pacheco and flew past the Manchester keeper. Five minutes til half-time and Manchester 62 were awarded a free-kick, Aaron Payas stepped up and curled his effort into the top corner.
Referee blew for half-time with the scores level at 2-2.
As the rainy condition got worse, the tempo of the game got slower with both teams defend well and not offering many men forward. Ismael Ouattara tried his luck from range but his effort went wide. The next big chance of the game came in added time, Manchester 62 substitute Andrew Lopez latched onto a through ball and volleyed his effort over
Shortly after referee Jason Barcelo blew the final whistle and the game ended 2-2. Manchester 62 move into seventh while Lynx rise from bottom to eighth.
