Since Gibraltar’s acceptance into UEFA, countless players have joined teams in the Premier Division from all over the world, to varying degrees of both time and success. However, few have enjoyed as prolific a spell as Argentinian striker Cristian Toncheff, who last weekend played his last game for Manchester 62 before a move to Bahraini top division side Bahrain SC.
After scoring almost 50 goals in the Premier Division for both Europa FC and Manchester 62, we take a look at just a few of the reaction on social media from both team-mates, his former employers and opponents.
@CToncheff te deseo todo lo mejor, fue un placer enfrentarme a ti, y por supuesto tenerte de compañero, amigo y capitán. Un abrazo amigo 💪⚽ pic.twitter.com/s9vEbpaTom

While Manchester lost 3-1 to Gib United in Toncheff’s final match, it will come as no surprise that the striker registered a goal on his final appearance for the club before moving to Bahrain, currently bottom of the top division and in need of goals and wins.
⚽️ 1-0 @Man62FC. CToncheff capitalises on a defensive error and slots the ball past @Chinovy69.
