11 minutes in and Mons Calpe broke the deadlock, Juan Pablo Pereira made a run down the wing and whipped in a cross which found Michele Di Piedi who headed the ball past Goldwin.

Shortly after Mons nearly doubled their lead but Colace’s shot from distance was saved. 26 minutes in and Mons made it 2-0, a corner was delivered, Jose Luis Otero rose above his marker and headed the ball past Goldwin. Mons continued to dominate and just before half-time Kyle Goldwin was called into a save from Renan Bernardes.

A few minutes later referee Glen Gilbert blew for HT with Mons leading 2-0. The second half got underway with Gib Utd making a substitution as Paul Podesta replaced Carl Thomas, a change which saw Gib improve majorly.

55 minutes in and Gib Utd had a great chance to pull a goal back but Evan Green drilled his effort wide from just inside the box. Gib Utd continued to push for a goal but were unable to find a way past a well organised Mons defence.

In the 87th minute Mons made it 3-0, Facundo Cascio picked up the ball on the edge of the box, skipped past his marker and slotted the ball into the bottom corner. A few minutes later Gib Utd pulled a goal back through a stunning effort from Jamie Bosio but it was a mere consolation. Referee blew the final whistle and Mons Calpe walked away with all three points and their unbeaten run lives on for another week.
