Lee Casciaro scores four as Lincoln rout Glacis

Four goals for Lee Casciaro, a hat-trick for Kyle Casciaro, as well as goals from Yeray Blasco, Liam Walker, Joseph Chipolina and Steven Soussi secured the league leaders a comfortable victory over Glacis Utd.

Lincoln opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, a cross from Jean-Carlos Garcia was headed in by Kyle Casciaro. Two minutes later Lincoln doubled their lead, Lee Casciaro latched onto a through ball and lobbed the on-rushing Alonso Garcia Palma. Lincoln nearly made it 3-0 minutes later but Alberto Del Rio prevented Kyle Casciaro from getting his brace.

Lincoln made it 3-0 in the 14th minute, Lee Casciaro’s low cross was smashed in by his brother Kyle Casciaro who found himself unmarked at the back post. Four minutes later Lincoln made it 4-0, Lee Casciaro drifted past his marker with ease, rounded Alonso Garcia and tapped his shot into an empty net.

Lincoln have further chances to extend their lead but Liam Walker’s free-kick hit the crossbar and Lee Casciaro dragged his shot wide from close range. Lincoln made it 5-0 in the 34th minute, Liam Walker’s mishit was headed in by Yeray Blasco. Ten minutes later Kyle Casciaro got his hat-trick, volleying in Jean-Carlos Garcia’s cross. Lincoln went into the break leading 6-0.

The second half started with Lincoln dominating the game and made it 7-0 in the 47th minute, Lee Casciaro latched onto an Antonio Livramento pass and drilled his shot into the bottom corner. Lincoln got their eighth goal and Lee Casciaro’s fourth in the 53rd minute as the striker smashed home a Joseph Chipolina cross. Three minutes later Lincoln made it 9-0, Liam Walker slotted his shot past an out-stretched Alonso Garcia. 

With Lincoln comfortably leading, they made a double switch with debutant Antonio Calderon and Steven Soussi replacing Lee Casciaro and Antonio Livramento. On the hour mark Lincoln made it 10-0, Antonio Calderon’s shot was saved by Garcia, the rebound was smashed in by Joseph Chipolina who shortly after was replaced by Leon Clinton.

With fifteen minutes remaining Lincoln made it 11-0, Steven Soussi latched onto a through ball and lobbed the on-rushing Alonso Garcia. Lincoln saw out the last few remaining minutes and the game ended 11-0. This win sees Lincoln extend their lead at the top to six points while Glacis remain ninth.
